Mycofix® Mycofix® product line Naturally ahead in mycotoxin risk management! The Mycofix® product line from BIOMIN represents specially developed feed additives that protect animal health by deactivation of mycotoxins. The sophisticated modular system - adsorption of mycotoxins (e.g. aflatoxins, fumonisins or ergots) and biological degradation of less- or even non-adsorbable mycotoxins (e.g. trichothecenes, zearalenone and ochratoxins) - forms the basis of the unique patented mode of action. Adsorbable mycotoxins are deactivated due to their specific fixation to a premium blend of adsorbing components resulting in a reduction of toxin bioavailability. Biotransformation by patented biological components eliminates the toxicity by enzymatically changing their structures.
